Thank you to Tom McNeal and Jasmine Sledge with Alabama Power Company for visiting our Jefferson campus and presenting a check for our new Rapid Re-Entry Workforce Training grant.
Jefferson State Community College’s Rapid Re-Entry Workforce Training project will train 50 students through the Center for Workforce Education, specifically focusing on formerly incarcerated adults across its four-county service area.
The Center for Workforce Education at Jefferson State Community College delivers fast-track skills training designed to train individuals for immediate employment. Non-credit training at Jefferson State includes healthcare, IT, manufacturing, craft training, and business sectors and is ever-evolving to accommodate the needs of employers across Alabama.
We greatly appreciate Alabama Power Foundation’s continued support on workforce training!
