Data analysts provide accurate and valuable data to businesses, offering their employers better decision-making opportunities. This course will prepare candidates for the Microsoft DA-100 certification in Microsoft Power BI.
Course Objective
- How to get data from different sources and transform it, using data-cleaning techniques and best practices.
- How to model data into meaningful datasets.
- How to visualize data and create dashboards.
- How to analyze the data, including applying splicers and filters, identifying outliers, and applying AI insights.
- How to deploy and maintain reports, including configuring dataset refresh settings, create and configure a workspace, apply sensitivity labels to the content in the workspace, and how to deploy pipelines.
Certification
This course will prepare students for the Microsoft PL-300 exam.
This exam measures your ability to accomplish the following techniques:
- Prepare the Data
- Model the Data
- Visualize the Data
- Analyze the Data
- Deploy and Maintain Deliverables
Cost of the exam is covered by your scholarship.
Instructors will provide certification exam information during class.
It is the responsibility of the student to schedule their national certification exams. Your instructor, nor the Corporate Office will NOT register you for the exam. This includes scholarship students.
Academic Accommodations for Certification Exam:
Students requesting ADA accommodations, for the certification exam, must contact the certifying body directly. An academic accommodation request, for certification exams, does not go through our ADA office or Testing office.
