Cost and Eligibility

Program participants pay tuition and fees based on Jefferson State’s fee schedule for courses they are enrolled in – whether at Auburn or Jefferson State – during concurrent enrollment. All tuition billing during the concurrent enrollment terms, for both Jefferson State and Auburn coursework, is handled through Jefferson State. Once you transfer to Auburn, your tuition and fees will be based on Auburn’s fee structure.

What is “Exploratory”?

The Exploratory pathway allows students to learn about all the majors and career options that Auburn University offers. This can help confirm their academic plan and save time and money by avoiding changing their major later. Its goal is to ensure that students choose a major with confidence while determining the best plan for progressing toward their degree in any area. All students in the program will start with the Exploratory course.
