Jefferson State’s Pioneer Pantry, in collaboration with the Student Nurses Association, hosted a simultaneous food distribution and donation drive on Saturday, November 21st.
Pioneer Pantry customers could pick up pre-packaged food bags in front of the Fitzgerald Student Center on the Jefferson Campus (2601 Carson Road Birmingham, AL 35215).
JSCC faculty, students, and staff, as well as community members, donated food (non perishables, canned and dried goods, etc.), household items (cleaning supplies, paper products, etc.), and hygiene products (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) to those in need by dropping the items off at the back side of the Allen Library building.
